Workshop — Yokohama Tsurumi
QT Drive Innovations® workshop operations are planned for Yokohama, Tsurumi-ku (横浜市鶴見区生麦 / Namamugi). The facility is specified for future automotive parts operations: intake from Japan auction and trade channels, dismantling, repair, quality check, and reassembly before export.
Planned Floor Operations
Dismantling
Controlled teardown of vehicles and major assemblies so usable parts are systematically identified, labeled, and separated from scrap.
Repair & Remanufacture
Mechanical and electrical work on core assemblies to ship as serviceable used or remanufactured parts, rather than untested take-offs.
Reassembly
Build-back of assemblies that leave Japan as complete, inspectable units (such as complete engines, transaxles, or interior modules).
Inspection Tag-Out
QT InspectTag™ NFC/QR integration on each unit, issuing timestamped compliance PDFs with optional QT ProofChain™ verification.
Site Selection: Why Tsurumi
Tsurumi sits on Yokohama’s industrial waterfront, providing direct heavy-vehicle routing to the Port of Yokohama (Daikoku Pier), the USS Yokohama auction corridor, and Kanto recycling networks.
Namamugi was selected as the designated site location to streamline intake and containerized outbound export shipments without routing logistics through congested city centers.
A comprehensive internal master business plan (Doc ID: QT-MBP-2026-001) and engineering floor layout have been established for this project. Public pages outline the operational concept and roadmap without publishing proprietary architectural drawings.
How the workshop ties to export
Parts processed through the planned Tsurumi facility will directly feed the QT Drive Innovations® U.S. Export Program: auction-sourced Japanese inventory, inspected in-house, documented, and container-shipped.
